Google Review QR Code Generator
Turn your Google review link into a QR code and a printable "Review us on Google" card — plus ready WhatsApp and SMS review requests.
How to get your Google review link
Google gives every business a short link that opens the review box directly. To find it:
- Sign in to the Google account that manages your hotel and search your hotel name on Google, or open the Google Business Profile Manager.
- Click Ask for reviews (on some screens it is Read reviews > Get more reviews or the share review form option).
- Copy the link shown — it usually looks like
https://g.page/r/.../review.
You can also build the link from your Place ID: https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=PLACE_ID. Google publishes a Place ID finder for developers if you need it.
Where reviews come from in a hotel
Most happy guests never write a review simply because nobody asked at the right moment. A QR card makes it easy:
- Place the card at the front desk during check-out and in the room folder.
- Add it to the restaurant bill folder and the breakfast area.
- Send the WhatsApp message (created above) a few hours after check-out.
- Train staff to ask personally when a guest compliments the stay.
Keep it within Google's rules
Google's policy does not allow offering discounts, gifts or money in exchange for reviews, or asking only happy guests to review (review gating). Ask every guest, politely, and reply to every review — good or bad. Our review reply generator helps you write professional replies quickly.
Why Google reviews matter
Your rating, number of reviews and how recent they are shape what travellers see when they search for hotels near them on Google Search and Maps. A steady flow of fresh, genuine reviews also builds trust before guests compare you on OTAs. Pair it with a strong listing — check yours with the OTA listing score checker.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I find my hotel's Google review link?
In your Google Business Profile, click Ask for reviews and copy the link. You can also use the format search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid= followed by your Place ID.
Can I give guests a discount for writing a Google review?
No. Google's policies do not allow incentives for reviews. Ask every guest politely and make it easy with a QR card and a WhatsApp message.
Will the QR code stop working?
No. The QR code simply stores your link. It keeps working as long as the link is valid, so it does not need renewal.
